"This is my 2nd Sony DSC-H300/B."

I did buy some rechargeable batteries to use in it. Its small and very comfortable to hold and use, which is great cuz I have small hands. The zoom is incredible as well. Reduced kit by one star since enclosed camera bag is too small for camera. If you're a casual photographer, you can't beat this price, get it now.

"This mode is important."

The battery life is outstanding, lasted her whole two week trip with moderate use. I would like a firmware update to fix that. The Sony DSCWX220B is small and fast. Likewise, don't rule out film. I have big hands, but it still fits well into my palm--very comfortable to hold.

"Work Horse."

I use it as a backup camera to my Canon 7D mark II. And because it is older, you can get it cheaper. Got the bundle at a great price also. This, in my opinion is a great camera to start learning on. Works great for my daughter and her film school.

While the 24-70 seems good, I can’t wait for a new Nikon . The lens adapter works seamlessly with no performance penalty. Auto works well for me once outdoors or in well lit rooms. I did buy some rechargeable batteries to use in it. Everything about it is solid and satisfying.
