It sucks up way more battery life than the D7100/D7200. The body is well balanced when using the large Art series of lenses. This is the best GPS DSLR Camera and I love it! The different modes are useful. Everything was fine with the kit - great value!

"Work Horse."

It is worth the trade-off when doing astro-photography. The battery that does come with the camera lasts a long time. But that's what this entry level camera is all about. All other cameras in this category are much more expensive. The body is well balanced when using the large Art series of lenses.

It has a great feel, not too heavy but still substantial. Took this camera on our family vacation to Utah national parks. Got the bundle at a great price also. SD card that came with camera is fine. Great GPS DSLR Camera package my kids love it!

Nikon 1524 First Impressions

"Love this camera."

If you are a point and shoot person forget it here. This lens is a good complement to the existing ones I have. However on contacting Nikon about it, they sent us a memory card. It is worth the trade-off when doing astro-photography. Though I have nothing to complain about the Nikon 1524.

Very good camera for the size. I've had the Nikon 13303 for about two weeks now and it's been great! It has a very similar look to a high end smartphone screen. Thank you Amazon and thank you Nikon! Everything was fine with the kit - great value!

I don't feel like I ever need any other lenses. The colors of course are very good as expected, and here is a surprise. I finally decided I liked the features of the Nikon line. Everything was fine with the kit - great value! I am eventually going to get the battery grip for the body.

"Two is preferable."

No focus peaking, even in live view. The Nikon 1501 has all the tech and features I was looking for in a camera. I love the camera and the bundle is OK. This is the best GPS DSLR Camera and I love it! I mean, I still shoot film with my old F3 and FE and push film.

Nikon still services this camera. 5 years I've gotten to know this groundbreaking GPS DSLR Camera well. It has a very similar look to a high end smartphone screen. I have not used the remote yet so I can't comment on that. This lens is a good complement to the existing ones I have.
