"I love the new Nikon 26499."With a prime lens, zoom is one less thing you worry about. Paired with my smartphone no problem. I am so impressed with this Nikon 26499! It wont replace a DSLR but it comers pretty close. Love that a strap, case and lens cover came with it, among other things.

"Really great camera."I feel that it takes better pictures than the DSC-HX50. A great camera for the money and my needs! After taking a photo, it would not focus or operate, or so it seemed. This camera far exceeded my expectations. Personally, I preferred it to have a wider lens, say 28mm equivalent.

"All in my Pelican case."It's got pretty much everything I could want in a Viewfinder Point & Shoot Digital Camera. Ergonomics count, especially when you get used to Panasonic's excellent system--wow! While the 24-70 seems good, I can’t wait for a new Panasonic DC-FZ1000M2. Or, you can select all-manual, if you want to set everything yourself. Auto-ISO is on the conservative side, which I would like to have more control over.

If you receive an error message to turn off and then on remove the lens cap. Its really the camera to take on day trips. I recommend this camera to those looking for an all in one camera.

"He loves it!"One thing that worries me is the little flap that covers the USB connector. Full manual, Shutter Priority and Aperture Priority. I did buy some rechargeable batteries to use in it.
